- Switch off your phone.
- Remove the two Pentalobe P2 screws at the bottom.
- Remove the SIM card tray.

- Insert a plastic opening tool between the display and the case starting at the bottom area of your phone.
- Carefully pry the display with its parts out of the case.
- Getting the prying tool in will require some effort, be careful not to slide the tool too much or you might slightly damage the housing.
- After you pried out the bottom end, use the opening tool to open the clamps on both sides.

- Don’t open the phone all the way, yet. The cable for the standby and volume buttons is still connected to the back cover.
- Swing open the phone backwards.
- Use a spudger to disconnect the power- and volume button flex cable.

Battery disconnect
- Remove the Phillips #00 screw.
- Use tweezers to remove the metal plate.
- Use a spudger to disconnect the battery flex cable.

Rear Camera
- Remove the Phillips #00 screw.
- Use tweezers to remove the metal shield.

- Use tweezers to loosen the bottom end of the adhesive strip, that holds down the flex connector of the rear facing camera.
- Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the camera flex cable.
- Carefully remove the rear camera.

Carefully remove the rear camera.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. When reassembling your phone apply new adhesive where it is necessary.

HI, I need to understand why many of us owners of the Huawei P10 has problems with the camera that does not focus or each photo is always blurred and it takes a side kick to fix it temporarily, then I would also know if changing the camera solve the problem. Thank you.

Could this be a firmware related issue? Perhaps the camera firmware in the replacement part is now older than that expected by the firmware in the phone itself?
Does anyone know where to find information about this sort of thing? Whenever I search the Googles I am always taken to generic pages about flashing boot loaders and various versions of Android, not the actual firmware.

What is misssing in detail: how to open the back case from the display. It was very hard and I need another webpage to get additional infromation.
