Step 1

              Disconnect the spark plug               

• Before you begin, be sure that the engine is powered off and is cool to the touch.
• Grab the plastic housing at the end of the spark plug wire.
• Pull firmly to disconnect the wire from the spark plug.

Step 2

              Remove the pump assembly               

• Use a 14 mm socket to remove the four bolts securing the pump assembly to the pressure washer.

• Pull the pump assembly straight off of the pressure washer to remove it.

Step 4

• During reassembly, insert the square key into the slot on the pump motor shaft before you reinstall the pump assembly.

Step 5

              Replace the dipstick               

• The new pump assembly will come with a plug in the oil port. After installing the new pump assembly, remove this plug.
• Replace the plug with the dipstick from the old pump assembly.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
