  • Flip the laptop over so the back panel is facing up.

  • Remove thirteen screws from the back panel using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  • Remove the two small back panels from the device.

              Motherboard               
  • Take the hard drive out by pulling out and upward

  • Remove three screws from the right panel using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  • Use your hands to pull both sides of the RAM and release the black restrictors that hold the RAM into place.

  • Take out the RAM by pulling it out and up.

  • Lift the retaining flap securing the keyboard cable to the motherboard.
  • Slide the ribbon cable out of the connector.

  • Use an iFixit opening tool to pry the keyboard up from the body of the laptop.

  • Remove eight screws from the motherboard using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  • Detach all the wires that are connected to the motherboard.

  • Remove the top screws from the motherboard.

  • Use your hands to lift the motherboard out of the laptop.
